Ruben Brulat’s photography is capable of refreshing the well oiled debate of human power and the insignificance of us all. Throwing into deliberation our obsession with archiving and relating the self amongst grander schemes (world, constellations, galaxies and beyond) beyond the beating hearts and pumping of bloodstreams. Brulat’s photography is capable of portraying our existence as a forgotten speckle upon the canvas of his chosen environment, sucking the soul from his models, allowing them freedom from the human body and access into the balanced turmoil of death - Nature.
There is also a tint of humour to his work, at times you may find yourself undertaking a task similar to that of everyone’s childhood hero, Where’s Wally, except the game has matured to be Spot the Naked Body.
He is currently living in Paris and is 21 years of age.
